Ready Steady GRILL!

Don't be intimidated trying something new. Whether it's parenthood, learning how to grill, or tackling one of those swedish furnitures, all it takes is a calm mind, thorough reading of instructions or research, and then just wing it.

When you were a child, you figured things out on your own. You had no fear about messing things up, and you were fearless from pedaling a bike to kicking it up in the pool.

Approaching new things with this mindset frees you to mess up, and accomplish and conquer the new.

If you want to try grilling take a look at this link from PREVENTION. Girls at the Grill has some good 101 advice.

Equipment & Tools:

Grill
I wanted to learn so I went for the inexpensive Weber Smokey Joe Silver

Chimney Starter
Picked up a Weber Chimney Starter

Tools
1 Long armed Lighter, 1 Brass Brush,1 Tong & 1 Spatula, 1 pair of Grill Mitts

Charcoal
Picked up Cowboy Hardwood Charcoal

Food
Filet Mignon, Turkey Cheese Burgers, Hot Dogs, Vegetable Kabobs, Salmon, Lamb Chops, Shrimp, and Scallops, Corn on the Cob, Mixed Mushrooms, 1 whole Chicken

Went through a bag of charcoal with all that, and ready with a new bag and looking forward to new adventures.
